Activities

Boy Scout Troop 1131 is involved in many activities. There's nothing like a challenging group activity to make a group of boys work together to solve a problem and grow in confidence. Scouting is a game with a purpose and that game is usually played outdoors, with a lot of physical activity. We use these ideas to help our unit have fun and learn skills while increasing our leadership and teamwork. Among the activities offered are more than 120 hobby and career skills available through the Merit Badge program, year-round camping and outdoor activities, an honor camping society, leadership training, service projects and special events.
